Sendo SV663
The SV663 is typical enough of Sendo, who will happily customise quite major components of their handsets to suit their customers. The SV663 is an example of this, based on the Sendo S600 platform but with a bigger screen and improved navigation controls amongst other features. And it plainly obvious from the picture - this phone is a Vodafone Live! handset aimed at Vodafone PayT customers. The phone got 128x160 pixel display in 65,000 colours, VGA resolution camera with 5X digital zoom and night mode, downloadable Java games and polyphonic ringtones, GPRS, a WAP 2.0 and XHTML browser, Picture CLI and vibrating alerts, the SV663 certainly packs in alll the features that the majority of users will need. It comes with a range of customisable themes and changeable covers too. Sendo isn,t operating in the "sexy" end of the market here, but the SV663 is one of the best-specified entry level handsets available, and there,s a fair amount of volume in this market sector, so prospects for the SV663 look good. And it begs the question that if Sendo can include a 128x160 pixel display in an entry level phone like this.
